Are there any issues installing MDAC 2.6 or later on a stand alone SQL 7 server?

Are there any issues installing MDAC 2.6 or later on a
stand alone SQL 7 server?
I got the KB article that speaks about not installing MDAC
2.6 or later on a clustered SQL 7 server and it does give
it as a resolution:
"Remove the SQL Server computer from the cluster, and then
continue to use the SQL Server computer as a stand-alone
server without cluster functionality"
I just wish to confirm that there are really no issues
installing MSDE 2000 or MDAC 2.6 or later on stand alone
SQL 7 servers.

personally I do have MDAC 2.5sp2 on the SQL Server 7.0 box, but only for
Visaul Basic 6.0 project references, becouse it is a development/deployment
box...
but MDAC 2.6 or higher is not a problem for SQL Server 7.0, as long as it's
not a clustered installation, as you already pointed out...
